Delilah Ray Miske

A woman with shoulder-length dark hair, wearing a white T-shirt, sitting at a wooden table with her chin resting on her hand, looking to the side, in a setting with a dark background.

Hey I’m Delilah,

A lifelong creatrix who blends into many worlds. It’s hard to put a title on all that I “do” – but one thing throughout my entire life has always been true — the need to create. Whether it’s working on a piece of writing, getting my hands dirty growing medicinal plants, painting, or making Ren Faire costumes, you can always find me exploring different creative outlets.

I grew up in a small Pennsylvania coal mining town, which sets the stage for many of my odd occult and folklore interests. My grandmother reads tarot, and as a teenager, that sparked my curiosity, and I have been exploring oracle decks ever since. And as for the painting, well, let’s just say that's just something I’ve always done, even before getting my Bachelor of Fine Arts.

A palm reader once told me that as long as I am working to help the earth, people, or animals, I will always be happy — so, here I am.

If you are like me and have a hard time fitting into a box, then I hope you find my work relatable and comforting.

“It's the artist's responsibility to balance mystical communication and the labor of creation.”
